‘So I definitely could see how if anything is up there watching over me, they’re trying to protect me from my worst enemy, which is myself.’

Demi (born Demetria) suffered a near-fatal heroin and fentanyl overdose inside their $8.3M Hollywood Hills mansion back in July 2018.

Lovato – who came out as non-binary on May 19 – is now ‘legally blind with hearing loss and brain damage’ after suffering ‘three strokes and a heart attack.’

‘I feel like it’s so important also to talk about [aliens] because it raises our consciousness,’ the two-time Grammy nominee – who saw a UFO/UAP in Joshua Tree – explained.

‘It expands our consciousness and that is what we have to do in order to make this world a better place.’

Demi executive produced and hosted the four-part docuseries, which also features their big sister Dallas and ‘skeptical’ BFF Matthew Scott Montgomery.

‘Before we shot the show, I was a skeptic. And now since we shot the show I haven’t stopped talking about it,’ the 32-year-old Swipe Right actor told ET.

‘I was like, “Are cameras recording this?” And I think Demi went, “Yeah, this is a TV show, we’re filming.” And I was like, “Good because I cannot believe what is happening right now.”‘

Lovato originally met Montgomery in 2011 through Tiffany Thornton before he filmed Sonny with a Chance spin-off So Random! on the Disney Channel.
