Trump says he will check on reports of UFOs, ‘I’ve heard that…so I’ll check on that.’
President Donald Trump told Fox News Sunday Morning Futures host Maria Bartiromo that he will investigate reports of unidentified advanced aircraft witnessed visually by military personnel and captured by the United States military on radar. The Sara Carter Show podcast has been interviewing experts in this field and here’s what some have had to say.
The topic used to be treated as a laughing matter, that is until recently, when the Defense Department disclosed it was being taken seriously by the military. Moreover, there have been a number of these Unidentified Aerial Phenomenon captured in recent years and more and more witnesses that can’t be dismissed have come forward.
In fact, this year the Pentagon first disclosed its secret program and made some of the evidence its special unit had collected on its UFO investigations public in an expose in The New York Times.
“I will tell you this, we now have created a military the likes of which we’ve never had before in terms of equipment. The equipment that we have, the weapons that we have, and hopefully to God we never have to use it,” President Trump
“Well, I’m going to have to check on that, I mean,” said Trump to Bartiromo.”I’ve heard that, I heard that two days ago, so I’ll check on that. I’ll take a good look at that.”
The President added “but I will tell you this, we now have created a military the likes of which we’ve never had before in terms of equipment. The equipment that we have, the weapons that we have, and hopefully to God we never have to use it.”
Bartiromo put a question on Twitter addressed to SpaceX CEO Elon Musk and Amazon’s Jeff Bezos if they believed the Earth has been visited. Musk answered on Twitter, but his answer was a bit cynical saying, “I have seen no evidence of an advanced civilization visiting Earth. Fuzzy pics that are worse than a 7/11 security cam frame grab don’t count!”

However, the Department of Defense in the United States, along with intelligence and military agencies around the world are studying the phenomenon, which has has reportedly interfered with nations defense and military systems.
Last month, on The Sara Carter Show podcast, I invited Luis Elizondo to speak with me about the ongoing work inside the Pentagon to identify these aircraft. Elizondo is the former director of the Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program (ATTIP), which is the secretive Pentagon unit that studied UFOs.
He has also served as the senior counterintelligence officer for the Department of Defense, working throughout the world in places like Afghanistan, the Middle East and Latin America, to name a few. Elizondo is also a host and investigator on the History Channel’s new television documentary series called Unidentified: Inside the America’s UFO Investigation.
Elizondo, who still retains a high level security clearance with the U.S. government, went into extraordinary detail with me on several podcasts. He was straight forward about the dangers for the nation’s national security if the government ignores the hundreds of reports from accredited pilots, military personnel and regular citizens of these unidentified aerial vehicles over the past decade.
He also talked about these unexplained aerial phenomena in historical context as well and why modern technology may be the reason the government has been more open about what it is investigating.
Elizondo said “the American people either may or may not be surprised that we spend each year we as American taxpayers” on trying to identify what is happening in the sky’s above our planet.
He said “forget about internationally just us billions of dollars with a NASA budget billions with a B, in order to send probes into other other planets like Mars, etc. and moons to in the hopes of maybe kind of possibly finding some sort of microbial life”
“And then you have other efforts such as SETI, SETI Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence” which was “actually part of their mission to find extraterrestrial intelligence.”
“And at one point, again, millions of taxpayer dollars were used to try to find these electronic signatures in these perhaps EXO worlds, that that exists beyond our solar system,” he said> “So hopefully, maybe one day detect some sort of signs of life. So for so for us to to engage in this effort as a country. I don’t think it’s unusual. There’s a long sea history of us doing this in the past and frankly doing it even currently.”
Elizondo told me “So what we did in the Pentagon is simply that using that same line of logic, and ask the question, okay, we have pilots that are seeing interesting things in the sky, we’re picking them up on gun camera footage, we’re picking them up on radar. Is it possible that that there is potentially potentially some of this, this, this this life, right here on this planet?”
“And I think if you if you look at the vastness as you said of space, I would encourage your audience to look up on on Google one day just type in under images, pale blue dot, and it’s a famous photograph that was taken by by one of our probes, and as it was leaving the solar system, it turned back around and it snapped a happy snap of Mother Earth,” he said. “And what you will notice unless you really look carefully, all you see is this black vastness of space, and some We’re in the middle of that black vastness of space, you’ll find this little tiny, maybe four pixels, blue dot, and that is everything we have ever known, everything we have ever done.”
Basically, that’s how small we look from a distance in space. I get what Elizondo is saying because it’s the same logic explained to me by a number of scientists that say seeing the planet Earth from a distance is the same perspective we have of other planets in our vast solar system, and the expanse of our universe.
You can listen to his full podcast here. I plan to continue writing these series of stories as part of our in-depth series on Unexplained Aerial Phenomena, better known as UFOs.
