Aliens exist and could be living among us on Earth, says the first British astronaut who in 1991 visited the Soviet-built Mir Space Station.
Halen Sherman, the first British Astronaut who visited the Soviet Mir Space Station in 1991 sys that it is likely that aliens are living among us on Earth, and we just may not have been able to detect them yet.
The former British Astronaut seems convinced that alien life is real, and it could closer to us than we’ve ever imagined.
Speaking to The Guardian, former British astronaut Dr. Sharman said: “Aliens exist, there’s no two ways about it,” adding that “there must be all sorts of different forms of life” among the billions of stars.
A vast Universe-
Astronomers assume that the proper distance—the distance as would be measured at a specific time, including the present—between our planet and what is considered the edge of the observable universe is 46 billion light-years (14 billion parsecs), which means that the diameter of the observable universe about 93 billion light-years (28 billion parsecs).
It is believed that just our galaxy, the Milky Way is home to at least 400 Billion stars, the number of planets that exist orbiting said stars is a number too large to fathom.
Furthermore, the Milky Way galaxy is about 1,000,000,000,000,000,000 kilometers (about 621,371,000,000,000,000 miles) across and its radius is around 52,850 light-years.
But the universe is much larger and the Milky Way is just a tiny speck in the vast space. Our Galaxy is part of a supermassive intergalactic structure, some 500 million light-years across— which contains around 100,000,000,000,000,000 Suns extended through its 100,000 150,000 galaxies, called Laniakea.
British Astronaut: Aliens exist, probably among us
Dr. Sherman made history in 1991 when she traveled into space and to the Soviet Space Station Mir. Dr. Sherman works at the Imperial College in London Today.
The first British astronaut in space has revealed that although alien life may not be made out of carbon and nitrogen like humans, it is entirely possible that “they” are “here on Earth right now, and that we just can’t identify or see them.”
Dr. Sherman spent several years as a researcher on space missions at a young age. At 27 years old, she became one of the youngest people in history to enter orbit.
With vast experience behind her, her recent comments just show what people who know about the matter think, when it comes down to the question “are aliens real.”
However, although we have still not found evidence of life–at least not officially–several declassified videos, images and documents show that Dr. Sherman may not have a flawed theory when saying that aliens could be among us right now.
In 2017, it was revealed that the US Government had been studying Unidentified Aerial Phenomenon for several years, with a hefty budget backing up inquiries into possible alien vehicles visiting Earth.
