Givalle Williamson said he was outside his property when he spotted a object “moving really fast”.
At around 5.30pm, the 35-year-old father said he witnessed two objects disappearing and reappearing and managed to catch the incident on camera.
He told Plymouth Live: “I seen one and it basically went from left to right and disappeared and reappeared. It had a white light going around it. I was with the kids in the street and they went mad.
“I then saw another, which was two balls of light connected. It was mad shiny. You can’t distinguish it with anything that would be in the sky.”
He said that he does not believe the object was a drone or a plane, adding that his neighbour and their children also witnessed ‘the UFO’.
Givalle said: “It didn’t have any red or blue lights on it. It was moving at the same speed that a jumbo jet would fly through the sky. It was mental.
“The kids were all running around. I was confused. They were trying to chase it down the road down to Victoria Park.
“It was shiny, you could see the sun gleaming off it.”
Givalle said that the objects were shaped like a tic-tac, which he said was a common feature of a UFO, a fact that he learned from watching programmes and documentaries.
He said: “I watch a lot of things about UFOs and everything I’ve ever seen thats what it was. I was in a really bad mood but this put me in a good mood.
“I can’t even fathom how fast it moved.”
There have been several occasions that residents in Plymouth have claimed they have seen a UFO.
In August, Maria Vincent said she saw a UFO from her window twice.
Ms Vincent initially presumed the object her seven-year-old daughter was watching out of the window at their Barbican home was a shooting star, but on looking again, she became convinced it was a UFO.
Ms Vincent said she saw a “triangle bright in the sky” and then noticed “two triangles [that] moved faster than light” disappearing and then re-appearing again.
She recorded a video which she says “captured fast movement of unexplained objects”. Her daughter also saw “flashing lights,” Ms Vincent said.
And in July, Ben Williams claimed he may have caught ‘something’ on his camera during the intense thunder and lightning in the city.
Mr Williams said the incident was “Very quick, and I have no idea what I saw at the point.”
Have you ever seen a UFO in Plymouth or did you witness this same incident?
